FAQ'S

When should I RSVP by?

Please send your RSVP as soon as you can! The latest we will accept your response is July 31, 2024. If we do not receive a response by this date, it will be marked as a "No". We will miss you celebrating with us; however we must promptly provide the total guest count to the venue, and we cannot accept late RSVPs past this point. We hope you understand.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors so please dress accordingly.

what type of bar is at the reception?

During cocktail hour there will be champagne available. We will also have wine on the tables during dinner. After dinner, around 8pm, you may order your drinks from the bar. We will be having a toonie bar so make sure to bring cash/change, as well as your ID.

Do I have a plus one?

Due to limited space, we can only accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you receive a plus one, their name will appear on your invitation. If your plus one cannot attend, please note this does not mean you cannot bring someone else to take their place.

When should I arrive?

Our ceremony will begin at exactly 3:30pm. Please try arrive by 3:15pm so we can have everyone seated before we begin.

What is the order of events?

3:00pm - guests begin arriving at the ceremony (Erin Estate)

4:00pm - guests begin exiting the Erin Estate property and head towards the reception; family photos

4:00pm - cocktail hour

5:00pm - begin seating for dinner

5:15pm - wedding party entrance + bride and groom entrance

5:30pm - dinner is served + speeches

7:00pm - dessert + speeches

8:00pm - dance begins

12:00am - last call for the bar

12:30am - bar officially closed

What colour are the bridesmaids wearing?

All my beautiful bridesmaids will be wearing black dresses!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking that all phones be put away and turned to silent/off. We have hired a professional to capture some of the most important moments of our lives and we'd hate to have a well-meaning person's phone blocking that moment for our photographer to capture. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you want! We promise to share the ceremony photos once we have received them!

are kids welcome?

Although we will be having our nieces and nephews included in our wedding, apart from them, this event will be adults-only. We want everyone to have the opportunity to relax and enjoy the evening. We apprecite you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us!

What is the attire?

We would love for our family and friends to dress up with us! We are requesting your best formal attire for the evening. Please no jeans, t-shirts, cowboy boots, sneakers or baseball hats. Please also keep in mind, when choosing your shoes, that both ceremony and reception are outside on dirt/grass.

How Do I Get From The Ceremony to the Reception?

It will your responsibility to drive from the ceremony location to the reception location. There will be parking at both places. If you would like to arrange a designated driver or carpool that will be up to you to figure out!
